The -40 up in northeast Montana is where we are.... I hear FOX news said Glasgow was the coldest spot in the nation... Altho down here in the river bottom the temp is -24 with an apparent/wind chill temp of -45...
And they say this will be diving further south with even colder temps....Still predicting temps of 30-40 below for about Friday night- which could give us 50-60 below wind chills..
Nasty nasty stuff... Tough on the old cows .... They were a little slow coming out of their holes- but are out grazing now...

It was 15 below here this morning, dropped to -22 when the sun came up. Doesn't look like it's going to warm up much before Sunday or Monday.

My youngest daughter is close to Tyler TX. She says they are supposed to get down to 20, and she is pretty sure she isn't leaving the house for a couple weeks.
We were down to -12, this morning, and are at 0 now.

Wasn't such a bad day here today sun was shining -6 last night got to only 6 above today. Wind from the NW was light but had a little nip to it. Clear now so will likely get quite cold tonight. Have 5 or 6 of snow, hard o tell just what we got as it blew and drifted most all day yesterday.
Electricity did a lot of blinking last night off a few minutes then on a few, but it never went off. I had saved a few bottles of water just in case, but wouldn't have needed to.

We went to Valentine this afternoon. Coming through Kilgore, on the way home, pickup thermometer said -13. I think we must have atleast 12 inches of snow.
