To begin, I apologize for my first post being a request, but I'm rapidly running out of ideas....
I'm not really sure what the protocol is here, but it's worth a shot....

I am an experienced 34 year old man with a spouse, but no children. I am looking for a long-term or permanent position. I would like to find a predominantly riding position with the opportunity to ride my personal horses or outside colts in addition to company horses. I am mostly interested in working in Montana, Idaho, or Wyoming, with Nevada and Utah running a close second. I would also consider the other western states if the opportunity were good enough. I am interested in a remote position, so a camp job would be ideal.

I have worked cowboyed throughout the west, including Montana, Idaho, Utah, Oregon, Wyoming, and Arizona. I've got experience in all phass of cow-calf and yearling operations.
I have a resume available. I can be contacted via email at [email protected].

If anyone knows of anything available, I'd sure be delighted to hear about it!

here's a few....

You might try looking around Elko Nevada on outfits like The Spanish Ranch or the 76. Down around Garison Nevada there are some big outfits also. I don't know where to look except doing a search for Elko's newspaper. Good luck. :D

I'd go to the Span if their horses didn't scare the ever-loving Holy hell outta me. I can start colts all day long, and don't mind getting piled off occasionally, but their horses are broncs all day long.

Thanks for the feedback everyone!

I dont bounce like I used to either!

Exactly. I had a company horse go down on me the winter before last in Wyoming. Ended up getting kicked in the face a couple times and KOd. $40,000 worth of reconstructive surgery later.........

Fortunately, the company paid for it, since it was the cowboss' fault it happened in the first place.

Summer before that, I was riding colts for a former NFR saddle bronc qualifier. Ended up with a broken arm, and blew my knee to pieces...torn ACL,MCL, meniscus, and patellar tendon. Note to self: If an NFR saddle bronc rider won't get on his horses....I probably ought not either!
