Hi, I am new to the site. I am wanting to know if anyone knows of any cattle ranch openings in North Central Texas. I have 15 years experience and am looking for long term positon back in thearea so I can be closer by family.
I am currenty working as an Asistant Ranch Manager and feel as if I am ready for management but have not found the opportunity.
Just give me a hollar if you hear of anything.
Thanks , Email me at [email protected].

Welcome to the site familyman36,and if I hear of any ranch manager job openings I sure will holler, cattle industry in Texas aint exactly booming, drought has slowed every thing quite a bit................good luck

Thanks for the response,Your right, Its been tough this year.

Looks as if I may have to look out of state as well. I love what I do so it will be worth it. for the last 20 years Ive been pretty lucky, Ive been at 2 ranches here in Texas, But I just hope to find something long term, if you know what I mean.
Let me know if you hear of anything.I appreciate it.

what does it pay? do I have to do anything? can I have the hired men do all the work?

how far to the nearest bar? are there lady dancers? is one of them Katrina?

I may or may not be interested. thanks!

Probably doesn't pay enough! Run 900 pairs on a 300 cow outfit plus chase elk off except during hunting season when it is leased too an outfitter. If you can find a hired man and will he do something but want time off and a paycheck

About six miles all downhill. The ladys like to dance one of them might or might not be Katrina. They will be in costume on Halloween Night you will have to decide
