Lot'sa ways to handle livestock

I had a post here.....re-read it after I posted it.....then decided that I had better things to to so I pulled it off.

#1...Me, a lowly woman.....do paperwork to get all my MANLY-MEN folks who work FOR ME...in 3 Yippe Yi Yo Western states....PAID!!

And ya know what....they must be all so gutless and un-manlike...they'll take that pay !!! Huh, go figure!! :???: :???:

If they ( AZ and Lt Dumbarse) don't grow out this mindset...someone will probably beat it out of'em one day!

Well good for you hay maker you handle them your way and i will handle them mine by the way i have worked with alot of texas cowboys that do alot worse than that , and treat their horses like s*** too . You guys cant gather them there you shoot them i have heard all them story about your guys so called cowboys gatherin with a helicopter or plane and puttin on a bunch of non speakin mexicans on sorry horses to gather that stuff cause you dont wanna cripple yourself or any of your own horses . Yeah thats what i wanna be known for is a dude that wears a walmart hat and calls himself a cowboy but when things get western you have to call a helicopter to get the job done . There is only about 3 texas cowboys that i know of that are actually cowboys Jeff shipp , Jerry Howard and Chad Sheffield and chad got struck by lightining a few years back here in Arizona and killed . The rest i wouldnt give a buckett of p*** for your glorified horse trainers you call cowboys . So like i said you handle them your way and i will handle them my way , and if you ever grow a pair come on out here to Arizona or New Mexico and work with some real hands that punch cows for a living . By the way dont get our panties in a wad over this you made your statement now i am makin mine . :) :D
AZ-PUNCHER, I SURE LIKE YOUR STORIES AND YOUR PHOTOS ARE SOME OF MY FAVORITE ON THIS SITE.I WILL NOT FALL FOR THE BAIT YOU THREW OUT ABOUT TEXAS COWBOYS,BUT THAT WAS A GOOD TRY.EVERYBODY KNOWS THAT THERE ARE PLENTY OF GOOD HANDS IN TEXASFROM THE ROCKS OF WEST TEXAS WHERE THE GRANITE WILL WEAR THE NAILS OFF YOUR HORSE'S SHOES IN A FEW DAYS(GLASS MOUNTAINS)(PLATA)(PANTHER JUNCTION)OR THE COASTAL BEND, WHERE SHARKS WILL SWIM BETWEEN YOUR HORSES LEGS WHILE CROSSING MARSH SLOUGHS(SAN JOSE)(MATAGORDA)(POWDERHORN)OR SOUTHEAST WHERE YOU YOU MIGHT HAVE ONE OF YOUR GOOD CUR DOGS SNATCHED UP RIGHT IN FRONT OF YOU BY A GATORTEN FEET AWAY FROM YOU WHILE YOUR DISMOUNTED TIT DEEP HORSE BOGGED DOWN CROSSING A BAYOU.(HALLS BAYOU THICKET)(BRAZOS RIVER BOTTOMS) THERE IS AL KINDS OF ROUGH COUNTRY, AND PLENTY OF GUYS WHO GO IN IT AND BRING BAD BRAMERS OUT, SOME OF IT ISNT EVEN ROCKY.BUT I AM NOT MAD AT YOU, ITS RAINING HARD, AND YOUR FUN TO TRADE PUNCHES WITH.KEEP THOSE GOOD PICS AND STORIES COMIN.

That is the same wy I feel about it also. You might want to send Az a pm. He's found a new place to trade cowboy stories and such.

If you'll think about it, the guys who talk most about their accomplishments usually aren't the ones who accomplish most.

Thanks for the entertainment everyone. Pretty boring over at our BAD GUY bull session site today.

I have to laugh at the way that old Pure Country has become the the love in guy on these sites. Kinda reminds me of a Billy Goat I used to have that would only show his horns off when two bulls got to fighting.

Sounds like you're having thoughts of moving to better grass their PureCountry - Maybe Tofino is where you should be looking. Not only good grass I hear, but everyone Loves everyone. (couldn't find a little smooch icon - maybe you can find one for us PC --- for every time you want folks to kiss and make up.

The way all these old vaquero's are mothering up and riding off into the sunset maybe it's Brokeback Mountain.com lol. When you think about the 'REAL' cowboys are probably outside cowboying not nattering away on a computer like us wordsmiths lol.

Hey AZ: I've worked alongside my fair-share of fellers like you, and I've learned alot...y'all have taught me to 'Build to it' an' do whatever it took to stick with it...

Everyone else: not 'bashing' anyone here, but if y'all have never done a 'tour of duty' on the bigger outfits who TYPICALLY go through young bucks like us, then ya just don't know where we're comin' from, or why we say and do the things we do. It ain't a shortcoming...and it's not that we're 'better' than anyone else...we're simply doing what we do.

I completed Marine Corp. Basic training at Paris Is....and ended up serving my active duty in the Air Force...

...I never 'strutted my stuff' while in the Air Force because...well, it was the 'Air Force' and NOT the US Marine Corp.

Marines have that 'strut' because they've earned it...you'll never get a chance to SEE them earn it...but trust me...they DO.

Cowpunchers go through hell to get thier jobs done....ACCEPT it...and thier 'Idiosyncracies'...the same way they (quietly ?) accept the methods of working cows up north, and points east...

Finally: Ranching is a MAN'S profession...it's great to know that there's a fair-share of Women getting the job done, and holding down the fort in supporting thier husbands 'ranching ventures'...but those few among you who feel the need to strut YOUR stuff, might benefit from readin' the Bible, and learnin' where YOUR 'place' is in the grand scheme of things.

Y'all just let us MEN be MEN here, and follow through with your own responsibilities.

Not 'my' personal view here...it comes from the Good Lord Himself, written in sand-stone LONG before there were ever cowboys, cowpunchers, buckaroos, vaquero's or WHATEVER...

'course...when I think of it, if it WAS'NT for your 'big sister' ('Eve') takin' the first bite outta' that apple...I'd hafta think that cowboyin' would be mighty 'boring' right now...

...some 'food' for thought...maybe...

I came back to read your post after reading your apology. I guess you should hang hyour head. I hoped you momma pulled your ear and sent to the corner for awhile as well. :(

Yep supreme case of ash kissin right there ^^^^^

She's kind of cute for an ol' lady Az, might be fun to have her kiss you.

JB, tell us more. How do you know this?

As for leaving, I have a good friend that used to post on here and quit. He says his head hurts less from pounding it on the wall. Some people just can't read a post and take it for what it is.
