I've seen the Anderson Bean square toed boots, WR, and I like 'em too.
Tried to get Mr. FH to buy a pair. He put 'em on, but he just couldn't
bring himself to buy them.

It's his age, y'know...     :P

Tell him I understand... and I wouldn't have bought them either, but they were marked WAY down. They are the most comfortable pair of boots I've ever owned, I got the full-quill ostrich  :D .

What the heck are we cowboys or fashionista's the right saddle to ride, the right hat to wear and right boots on your feet changes every 50 miles anyways. It's what under the hat that matters. As for Texas cowboys I can get along better with them after they've got some age on them-Chris Harris, Will Lowe have alot more class that some of the magpies at the High School Finals. I think Chris is a pretty neat guy the ups and downs he's had in his life would make a pretty darn good movie.

I think that's what makes it fun... the different styles you come across. I guess most would say it mostly comes down to function :D . Now where is the category for patching old work boots up with duct tape, that's the one for me??? :D

I gotta confess, they went to the dump when I got my new boots, and could replace them :D . Besides, I really couldn't compete with this pilot's duct tape repair job  :

I got this in an e-mail, apparently a bear trashed this plane somewhere in Alaska. The pilot was in some remote spot and had to patch it up with duct tape to fly it out of there   :

Good as new.... now who wants to go for a ride???

I want pics of what it looked like after flight! I guess we should NEVER underestimate the power of duct tape :P  .

Wow, I guess not. He should send that to the Duct Tape people.
They could use it in their advertsing.

And the boots, I want to see the new ostrich square-toed
Anderson Beans.

Here ya' go  . I don't know what's more disturbing, you requesting a pic of my boots, or me actually taking the pic and posting it   . This thread has really taken a turn... for the worse or better, I'm not sure  . I guess being stuck inside for four days is starting to catch up with me :D .

Ohhh I likey  and generally I'm in the category of not liking squared toeds, but I love yours!

I have to admit I tried on a pair of Bouillet (? spelling) square toed boots awhile back, and they were quite comfy, but I decided to keep my cash in my pocket. Probably about the time I break down and buy a pair, they'll be out of style. I generally about 5 years behind in style

Cheers---

TTB
