Lyme Disease

We have a mare that is acting lame, nothing out of the ordinary can be seen. Has anyone had a horse get lyme disease, what were the syptoms and what was the treatment, how was the response. We have a lot of ticks here, our dog got it at one point.

They talk mosty of the the infliction in dogs, but say that since it is zoonotic, that it has been seen in many species.
