Can you see anything wrong with the way this bareback horse is marked out.

Is that the one that Ty "missed out" down south? Looks okay to me.

I was arena manager at our little rodeo for several years. In anticipation of the event one year I bought a pair of those coke bottle, gimic glasses at the Dollar Store. The first time one of the judges showed a little unfairness I loped over to him and handed him the glasses. :D
It kind of brought the house down and for several years thereafter the judging was a lot better at our event.

One of my favorite rodeo clown jokes is the one about..... how can ya tell a bareback rider? Walks like this (jerking each leg toward his crotch like srurring) How can ya tell a barrel racer? (goes a ways and makes a 360, ect) How can ya tell a bull rider? (Rapid, nervous, twitchy, looking behind him limp)
Ends up with how can ya tell a rodoe judge? And the clown starts his blind person imitation with the stick and all!!! :D
Most judges are ex contestants and most are great at what they do, but a few!!!!! :D If Ty keeps marking them like the photo he'll cash lots of checks!

I don't know much about coaching bronc riding but I always told him to set his feet and spur. Nothing looks more pathetic than D'ing up and getting bucked off. It's funny about his hat-when he was on TV in Calgary his buddies could tell it was him by his crappy old riding hat lol. That flag cost him big time in Farmington but such is life. He was a hard horse to get out on kind of hipped himself then ducked hard right.

LOOK,LOOK,LOOK,KICK,KICK,KICK,LOOK,LOOK,LOOK-puts video camera back under arms and stomps off to the horse trailer lol. When Ian Tyson wrote 'Barrel Racin' Angel' he forgot about their MOMS-just kidding. To be honest it scares the rap out of me to watch junior barrels I think it's more dangerous than bronc riding.

Hahaha I know what you mean. That's why I never holler or yell anymore. I did a long time ago. But when I asked if she heard me....she said no...all I hear is quiet. Well....I decided right then, that my "coachin" would be better done at home when she's ridin doin slow work.

Oh yeah.....some of the stuff we see at our local county fair when the kids ride skeers the pants off me. Parents puttin kids on horses that ain't half broke. Reins so long that "whoa" is way up around the kids ears.

You may not hollar at lil Lilly in barrels....but I've heard ya whoop and hollar and strongly suggest...while Mr. Lilly is driving at the dirt racetrack! lol...(Like I'm sure he can hear ya...but then again,,maybe he gets the "wife" feeling while he's driving...lol)
