The next time I went to see this foal of Dad's it had eagles parked on it. We don't know what happened to the little fella.

Just some assorted pics from the great white north

It's looking green up in your North Country Silver - greener than it is in this old frosty valley. How are you doing for moisture up there? Will be heading up your way in August - Buick-Charlie Lake area?

You have a beautiful ranch Silver, that is the only corner of BC I haven't been to yet. That green is a pretty colour, if a person uses his imagination there is a tinge of green here. :D

That is the Peace Country of BC? I love those big rolling hills. Nice county. Too bad for the colt.

Awfully dry here already, we're getting some moisture today (it's white :? )
Sounds like you're gonna be pretty close to here, about an hour away. What brings you up?

We are holding our Luing Association AGM at a breeders (Wilf Chelle) place.

I have met Wilf before, he seems to be quite an interesting, intelligent man. I didn't realize he was a Luing breeder, that's interesting.

Thanks all for the nice comments :D

Nice pics Silver. Closest I've come to you is Fairview and Grimshaw. Beautiful country. Not much grass on your slopes yet, but if they're anything like ours, there never is alot. We're looking forward to moisture tonight, in whatever form it may take. Cloudy, windy and cold here all day.

The older I get the less I like to be cold. But you sure have a beautiful place when it is warm - - - -how much of a normal year is above 70F for a high?

It is still running about 15F below normal here and we have had almost double the normal rain for the year ( another 2" last night ) - - - you would think good grass but just so-so as we need heat for it to grow.

Not sure what 'normal' is anymore, but from the first week of May to well into September / first part of October it should be at least 70.
