Still a little snow in the air

But it cleared up fairly fast

The green and white make a pretty combination.

These two found a comfy spot.

And seem to be enjoying life

The cows are still liking hay, even though it is the 11th of May.

More coming as they seek nourishment

Catching a horse for the Kosmo Kid. Seven pairs got through a fence in the storm, and were in with our neighbor's cattle. Our mission for the moment was to retrieve them. We loaded a saddle in the Ranger, and went a mile west to where the horses were.

As you can see, they weren't too concerned with the happenings.

Kosmo rode horseback, and I rode the range in the Ranger.

Shane and Austin came along and assisted with their Ranger.

Mission accomplished. All the cattle cooperated very well, and it didn't take long to sift out our seven pairs to bring back.

Goose is free again, and we leisurely rode home in the Ranger.

The view would look different from this pilot's point of view.

But this is how it looked from where I was standing.

One of my favorite sights is melting snow. Means we have gotten moisture, the storm is over, the sun is out and it is warming up.

Glad you got your cattle home. Many are still feeding hay here too. It's supposed to get down to 21 degrees at night in a day or two. That won't grow grass very fast.
