MCG and GRADUATION!!!!

MCG got lots of awards before graduating from the 8th grade:

My pics never turned out so here goes:

She received:
-President's Education Awards Program (that's about getting a 3.75-4.0 gpa for both 7th and 8th grade)

-2nd place-Geography Bee

-2nd place-County Spelling Bee

-Perfect Attendance

-Honor Roll

-Student of the Month for April

She graduated from the 8th grade last night.

ohh i like her dress!!! And wow yall do alot for 8th grade graduation, all we did was have a dance and they called it "prom". and we had like 15 kids in our grade 8 class!! we dont even have a prom for actual grad! Wow, im really missing out on alot being up here and all! :shock: :shock:

beautiful young lady, but in that class photo, you can not help but pick out the dude in the orange....... is he the class rebel??
 
Congrates MCG,you did great,and you look very pretty in your dress.Your mom and dad look awfully proud of you young lady :)


Jigs,I noticed the kid in orange too,our towns grad was two weeks ago,high school grad dressed totally in bright orange top hat and all...kinda wierd to see this kid in almost the same outfit
 
HAHA Nick isn't exactly the class rebel, he just makes everything a little bit more fun!! His parents are both the same way, too, they're substitute teachers at our school and just are randomly hilarious!

We took a bunch of pictures that night, including a few of a whole bunch of girls and I all gathered around Nick :lol: :lol:
 
Congratulations! You're obviously doing an awesome job! One question, however. How does one get perfect attendance? I would have gone nuts back in my school days if I couldn't have skipped out now and then. :wink:
 
You are well on your way MCG. Great job of balancing the academics with the sporting events you participate in. You probably can't appreciate it now, but having great parents to lead you along will benefit you the rest of your life.

I am slipping BMR, must be a function of old age, it was supposed to be a dress from Grannys Attic. Might have been the fact that I had to endure going into the fabric store with these two while they picked out a pattern, got fabric, and on and on for half a day. I can pick out a bull, get him bought, BS with people and be back home in half the time it took those two to pick out a pattern for a dress that was probably worn for the first and last time. No wonder I am slipping :wink:
 
nah, you know I wouldn't wear it if it was from Granny's Attic :shock: :!: and it didn't take us half a day to pick out my stuff :roll: only about an hour, thank you very much !! :lol: :wink: I just realized my computer went bizerk and posted my post twice and only half the first time, lol. Thanks for all the nice comments guys!

Cal, I only got perfect attendance because I hate missing school and having to make up work. Plus it was one of my goals this year. I've never gotten it before and this might be the first and last time, haha.
