I've got the best September grass I've ever had-we shipped a couple loads of cows because we had no rain till 6/26 but now it can't stop-rain every day or so. This replacement heifer is looking fat and sassy.

This wee shaggy beast ran with 30 cows in the bush for 6 weeks now he gets to relax with 60 heifers for a bit-he's holding up pretty well-I think he'll nick pretty good on those black baldies-this is one of Mr. Kaiser's Welsh Blacks.

I really like this type of cow-her udder isn't perfect but she doesn't need warm blankets to get through the winter-I just remembered she's the granddam of that baldy heifer.
 
It looks pretty lush there now. I will take a load of them there heifers, can you say spring of rib! :D I have been over there in political bull to much myself, I may have to back off My blood pressure is running a little high. LOL
