While Soapweed was over watching the ranch rodeo we were watching the miniture garden tractor pull...They had some pretty cool ones and some that weren't anything but a lawn mower but had lots of power...Good family event...(hope the last one a video works?)

That looks like fun! I'm sure the kids and adults put alot of work into these outfits....and learned something about mechanicing and fabricating as well. Thanks for sharing!
 
The funny part about being all spread out across the country is how doing something like this would never work in some places. I just don't see how much fun it would be to watch my wife going like a blue bobcat pushing her old reel mower! :shock: In some spots a lawn mower race would include goats and sheep. And the Canadians would have to have a snow shoveling contest! :P
