YUP! we're getting a nice, soaking in rain, big green and yellow cell above us...sometimes Memorial weekend can be gorgeous, sometimes it will rain. I'll take the rain anytime

Went a cemetary where some of my folks are. It was a nice evening. Have you ever noticed dead men make the best fertilizer. Some of those oak trees there would take at least 3 grown men to reach around. I'd say they were 60 or 70 inches through. Big trees for here.

snowing here in the valley and raining in the foothills and mountains.....YAYYYYY.... keeps those pesky tourists home for a day or two!! guess this was not a bad holiday to decide to work :roll: I'll get holiday pay anyway!! :wink:

Our long weekend was last week and our oldest daughter got married. A great time was had by all.
We had a very cool cloudy windy day, Got 41 calves branded. Cleaned out some hfrs and a pasture with some older cows. I thought it was going to rain all day but couldn't even tempt fate and make it rain.

This was one of the few years I can ever remember where it didn't rain on Memorial Day. For some reason, that was always a guarantee.



Instead, it's raining today! A nice, long, soaking rain. The sky is a solid gun-metal gray, so it looks like it's hanging in for a while...
