I had a spare moment and decided to wish all of you a Merry Christmas and share a few pictures from our picture session.

Little Brother and I.

The Tradition
Some folks just don't get it
They think owning cattle makes no sense,
It takes too much time, too much equipment
Not to mention the expense.
But the fondest memories of my life-
They might think sound funny-
Were made possible my Mom and Dad,
'cause they spent the time and spent the money.
You see, the most important lessons
Helping values grow so strong,
Come from loving cattle
And passing that tradition on.

The words above are the poem that my mom and dad received on a picture for their 30th wedding anniversary. Here's the picture:

Merry Christmas to all and safe travels!

Faster Horses- The poem and picture I purchased from the Old West Cedar Mill from Oklahoma City. I saw their stand and this picture when I was in Houston for the Livestock Show and Rodeo for the Collegiate Wool Judging Contest back in March.
