Merry Christmas to You...

Tis the season, here on the Ranch….
To wear stylish coveralls and
snowboots, gloves and hats….

We feed the cows their cake and some hay…
I drive in slow circles….
For part of the day….

The critters don't care if it's Christmas time…
They just want their snacks….
Wow..how they gather up for the buffet line…

They luv the cake and mineral too….
Served with chopped ice
Which makes my fingers turn blue….

My siren sounds like a traffic cop…
But they all come a running…
Down off the snowy hilltops…

With all the snow, cold temps and the muck…
My Christmas wish is simple…
I pray I don't get stuck…

So on Christmas day, nothing will change…
We'll be feeding the cows…
Here on the cold ole range…

May your Christmas wishes all come true….
And while we're feeding the cows…
We'll be thinking of you!

Merry Christmas and may the New Year bring to life all of your dreams...

Thanks...but my photography is much better and easier to do than a poem...lol It's not near as good as the other talented poetry writers on here...but hey...Christmas is the season for smiles...and that's all I need to do... :wink:

Lovely poem by the way. And it did make me smile.....with all the pictures you post, and send, along with the words of the poem.....it was like gettin to ride along with ya on your daily route.....minus the coveralls :wink:

But it is cold here now. "Coveralls Cold" it's supposed to freeze tonight. Thank goodness tho it's not rainin.
