mighty NU

Kansas is scheduling the school for the blind and the school for the deaf. Kansas is a struggling program and nobody is trying to sell that crapload that "nobody will play us" or better yet "Decade of Dominance" Hell, about the only team Kansas can beat is that cupcake in Manhattan.

Ball State is in Indiana named after its founder the Ball canning jar folks.
They are a tuneup game for Nebraska, but they're a credible team. I'm not sure any coach would suggest USC and LSU to get ready for OU.
 
KU a struggling program?? hell I have heard a few guys say they are a sleeper for winning the north.

of course I think these guys must be smoking some good stuff, but they think KU is on the verge of pulling it off.

Cupcakes and KU......I bet Mangino knows plenty about cupcakes, very little about bran muffins, but plenty about cupcakes.

Before the season started, I thought Okie St. was the sleeper - now I'm thinking KU. The media seems to have fallen in love with Mizzou. I've got two words for them, "Gary Pinkel".

I doubt KU has a lot of depth, so they've got to stay healthy. If they do, they might be the team to not bet against.

I think Mangino is also familar with pan cakes, funnel cakes, Little Debbie cakes, and maybe even cow cake.
 
Oh the wit, spare me. One never tires of the Mangino is fat jokes. Say it some more - and say Prince isn't fat or homosexual.

The only reason Kansas may win the North is by default, but "some guys said otherwise". I still think Nebraska may grow into their talent and be credible by season's end. Good thing the North should all be tune up games for the Huskers. Pinkle and Prince played a game of who's the stupidest and both lost.


Yes Ball St is a tune up game for Nebraska. A tune up game is one you win even if you don't play very well.
 
if this was a tune up game, expect a lot of "L"'s the rest of the year. take out Purify and Swift, NU has no O, and they showed the lack of D very well today.....


will NU miss a bowl game this year??? very possible!
 
Arkansas lost to Ky. Pittiful game on Arkansas' part. They don't have anything but the best set of tailbacks in college football. They just need a defense, o-line, coach, q-back and wide recievers.
 
Jigs, NU goes bowling - they just have too much talent & the North really is light. I'm happy as hell Kansas is 4-0 but its all smoke at this point.


Kentucky is a solid team, sure Arkansas should have beaten them, but they are good.
 
September 29 Iowa State could go either way
October 6 at No. 25 Missouri Mizzou should win, depends on Pinkle
October 13 Oklahoma State ????? they have a better O than Ball St NU L
October 20 No. 20 Texas A&M not as good as advertised, NU wins
October 27 at No. 7 Texas loss.
November 3 at Kansas at KU, so the 4,738 hawk fans maysee an upset
November 10 Kansas State my heart says KSU wins in Lincoln, brain says " stop smoking crack" late season game, we could win
November 23 at Colorado they always seem to spoil, but I see NU getting the win

3 or 4 wins the rest of the season.....3 wins, and you get to goto the "we used to be great" Bowl game. but a couple upsets either way and the season could get very good or very ugly.


Callahan is the greatest thing to happen to the Big 12.....well, the other 11 of us any way!

jigs you got ISU a push? you need to get outta Manhattan more. ISU lost to Holy Toledo, you know Tloedo as one of those jokes Kansas smashed.
You're right that this NU doesn't seem to have the same margine for error they used to, but I got NU over everyone but Texas. Kansas might get lucky in Lawrence but we got about the same chance getting NU as KSU/MU/CU

The home field advantage may be the biggest determinant of who wins the north - that seems to be what's been deciding the Kansas/KSU games

This knock on Calahan is bogus - sorta. It seems he may be not playing up to his talent, but his system will come arround.
 
I hope you're right Brad..... But my gut says we haven't hit bottom yet....
I just hope our program will not end up like ND.......Now that is a sad deal there and I always root for the other team when they play............. :D

good pasture..... I always heard that OU had 4 years probation for every title... any truth to that?
