Tough storms over there, take care!

We got BIG, BIG rain. The tornados were 20-30 miles away too. No wind to speak of either.

This is the best rain we've had in over a year! HOOO YAAAA!

It really built up after it got through me early this morning. Yesterday and today together didn't add up to half inch...but I didn't need it, had one earlier that y'all didn't get. Had one big blow when the last line came through, but didn't last 15 minutes. All smiles for ya! :D :D :D :D

Not a lot of wind up here in TN but I'll bet we've had at lest 3 in. of rain in the last 2 days. I'm ready for it to stop! Its gettin round bale feeding time and the mud can get too deep and make everything miserable.

Got 5.5 inches at my house. The tornado missed my daugther by a good 100 yards. I took her a generator that she used to recool the frige but she and her hubby still showed up at my house for supper and a soft bed.

Bama, take care down there... I'll bet you was worried sick???

She slept through it and called me shortly after and said "Dad the police and fire trucks were riding all around my house." She wanted to know what was going on.
I told her to stay in her house and that I would be there soon with a generator. I got an official truck with emergence lights and it still took me 4 hours to get to her. My son-in-law walked up about the time I drove up. He had to walk in from a mile or so out as only emergency vehicles and personal were allowed in the area. At first, they told him that he could not walk in but he slipped in around the backside where no roads are.
When I got there, she was fine sitting on the porch watching all the activity.
By the way she is making me a granddad on December the 31st. I can't wait.

It was the tornado that hit Fun Zone. They live at Taylor crossing in the garden homes.
