Jiggsy......What almost happened to your legendary Cats against Iowa STATE?

Over 25,000 of the Husker Nation invaded Seattle to watch the Huskies lay down. That was for a regular season game. I don't know if there are 25,000 K State fans who would attend a Bowl game (assuming K State is ever invited to a Bowl again, that is.....)

You're gigging the Cats for what "ALMOST" happened?

Sometimes coming back from behind to win is more of a true test of a team's potential than beating the socks off a cupcake.

Huskers appeared to have played good yesterday, but the Huskies are awful.

Conference play will start exposing some weaknesses.................. as is evident yesterday.

Rivals.com led us to believe that the Husky QB was a serious Heisman contender. The Husky offense was supposed to be explosive and a force to be reckoned with.

I guess we'll know by the end of the season if Nebraska has a decent football team, eh?

They're not "indecent" now.

Just saying that conference play is usually when the litmus tests are administered.

But chiding a fellow for his team coming from behind to win is, just, different?

I loathe "Blowout" games............. whoever is playing. To me, they are not entertaining, which is the sole purpose of playing them in the first place.

But, Mike...it's just SO MUCH FUN to give Jiggsy a hard time about his Mildcats!  8)

Jigs was born here in the town where I live.....I know some of his cousins....I really think he's a closet Husker, cause he's a Husker by birth....if he'd only come over to the dark side!

I see the Tigers were dang impressive against an ACC powerhouse....

we ALMOST lost to a team that BEAT nu last year....let see how nu does vs Iowa State before you crow too loud.....

That kid at running back must be something extra for K-State.

He has the 2nd most yards of any in the nation. He'll have a thousand yards before the 7th game of the season at this rate.

he is a preachers kid, who lost his way...had a hard time making the grades, went through the junior college and then to Manhattan. his dad has thanked Coach Snyder for seeing the man in his troubled boy, and has said that Coach Snyder has put the boys best interests ahead of the teams best interests.... Snyder wants to win, but wants even more, to see these young men become good people. dog him all you want, Snyder is a good man who has others best interests at heart.

where did I say, "sold out his principles for fast guys from the hood in an 'anything to win' type scenario" ?? THAT is TO to a T.

at one point, I really thought dr tom was a great guy, but he let a LOT of shirt happen that should NEVER have happened, and it was a well know fact that he sold his soul for those championships
