Visited Tumbleweed the other day and this is his way of mining copper he's been digging up copper cable that went to old missle sites from Ellsworth AFB.

Looks like he's digging the whole way. Has he tried digging a hole every 50-60 feet, cutting the cable and just pulling it out? I know people that have gotten by doing that and it's a lot faster and a lot less of a scar through the pasture when done.

That copper cable has been a pretty good boom to some folks the last couple years. How long does it take to grow back?

Yep , big business.. the druggies are braking into warehouses in the cities and stealing new construction and old construction blind by tearing out all the electrial wires over a weekend... Lot of work for their fix...
 
He was in some rocky ground there, they are pulling quite abit now. They've been filling the trench with a grader and smoothing it out nicely, it takes along time though for those trenches to go away.
