Misprint?

more of that "history, and tradition" crap.

NU flat out sucks, and the powers that be, just can not get over it. I bet Notre Dame is still getting favorable point spreads....

They got 21 last week and just about won....

Nebraska isn't as sick as some wish. They still have plenty of talent, and they've started to play inspired ball. Kansas is 8 & 0 against the spread, but I'll be happy with a 1 point win.

I heard tonight that if KU wins the next two, the misery game is meaningless !

hopefully the squaks can take care of business, because NO ONE wants to see the tiggers win it!

Kansas has 3 games left:NU, @OSU, and ISU. NU is still Nebraska and TO still has multiple rings - OSU is as good as they want to be. Kansas will have to get some lucky bounces to win both, and we've already had to rely on some good fortune against A&M,CU & KSU. Nobody gets lucky all the time.

Bottom line is Kansas can lose 2 and still beat MU for the north, but the north is a long way from a 2 team race. KSU and CU only have 2 losses, and they both could beat MU. I bet the north is settled by some tie breaker

Right now the north and south are 500 against eachother with 2 games remaining (Kansas @ OSU and MU vs ??) Such a disparity - they say that crap during hoops season and the record is even within a couple games

This Ganz deal worries me because NU still has superrior talent. Ganz needs to get the line fired up and run between the tackles. I hope the hell the Jayhawks aren't believing all this publicity crap.

Our season is gone. As red as my blood runs, I won't be disappointed if Kansas beats us. I'd kind of like to see how far they can go.

Nebraska's season is only gone by nebraska standards, but a 500 season is a worth while goal. I know some Huskers that feel like they need a really bad season to clean house, but that's gonna happen no matter what. I hope TO can get these kids to play with pride like they did against UT. That one win could have done soooo much for NU. The thing NU doesn't want is the culture of losing; that's what is good about bringing the doctor back to town.

I went to a baseball coach's meeting and they were talking about the NU goings on, and some guy proclaimed he was a Husker fan through thick and thin. I told him we'll never know the thin side of football at NU. This season is hard on huskers everywhere, but TO will roll in a new guy and they'll be back next year.

I feel the change to the West Coast Offense has hurt them in the past but it will be even worse for them for the rest of this season because of the importance of Keller in the scheme.

I don't think they'll win another one this year. The few they have won was by outscoring the opponents, not with any defense to speak of. Now that the offense has been crippled it might get even uglier.

They'd better make an coaching change annoucement pretty soon too because of all the recruits jumping ship. I can't believe TO has waited as long as he has.

Walk-ons won't cut it anymore.........................

I must be the only one who thinks NU is right where they belong! I agree with Callahan, he is doing an excellent job!

Jigs. Try to have some compassion for the defenseless.

compassion my ash, 30 years of thumpings and the so called "classy fans" has burned me to the bone. I will never have a soft spot for a husker fan.

This surprises me.

On one hand hand you bench and complain about Husker fans talking about "Tradition" and past dominance, then you use "30 years of thumpings" as justification to abhor them.

You should know that the glory days of the Husker is all they have to hang their hat on and you should bask in knowing that they will never return anywhere close to the same.

The rules have changed in college football. It was a planned event.

Look at our little Troy Univ. down here. They play Georgia this weekend and I'll bet they will hang closer with them than Oklahoma State did.

They beat the crap out of OSU a few weeks ago.

Yup. Musta been a misprint.

Jigs, the thumping Nebraska took today was worth way more than 30 years.................Waaaaaaaaay more.

You were wrong Brad. Bad wrong. They are as sick as any team I've ever seen.

It ain't gonna do them any good to get rid of the coaches and AD.

They need to get rid of all the players too, and start all over from scratch.

I've never seen such lollygagging like this in all my days of watching college football.

Kinda glad in a way though. I took KU minus the points.

It's coaching. We've got good kids and they haven't been developed and have been put in bone-head schemes. A & M ran the same flipping play half of their snaps because it worked every time they ran it and we never did anything different to stop it - Cosgrove calls the D. Mizzou's QB said we ran a "high-school" defense - Cosgrove called that, too. Players said they couldn't change defenses on Mizzou because "we never practiced anything else" - nice contingency plan by Cosgrove.

We've got more 3 and 4 star players and more J.C. All-Americans than Pelini had and his D was top 10, Cosgrove is bottom 10. Callahan's recruiting classes have averaged way higher than Osborn's. Need I compare records between those two?

Our announcers calling the game will tell us the formation and then say, "We ususally run X here"- and then we do. It's pretty sad when your announcers are correctly predicting the play - you think opposing D coordinators might be able to do the same?

Callahan and Cosgrove are clowns. They haven't figured out that they've been figured out.

I listened to the game today, and I gotta tell ya, Greg Sharp was a joy to listen to. the guy is a class act. he and Adrian are a nice blend, now lose the jerk Matt Davis and you guys have good radio program.

where was Rose? why the replacement?

call of the game was the ref calling KU Kansas State and then on an illegal motion, it was "the entire line was moving" two good ones!

Now what kind of a problem can you have with Matt Davis?

We had a High School coach that got just as predictable--and being on the school board we were catching heat to do something...Really got bad when the radio announcers were betting between themselves on the air if it was going to be a dive right or dive left on first downs-- and a counter left or counter right on second downs.... Luckily he messed up and let an incident occur when he let the cheerleaders ride the team bus home  - and we had to do something with him then....

Our HS team should have stayed home today, too-- I only listened until they were behind 30 to zip in the 3rd quarter- then gave up on them...I thought they'd made it a lot further in the playoffs than they belonged ...

I guess we can officially bury the legend of the Blackshirts!

I didn't like Nebraska any more than any other team until Bill Walsh was the commentator for the Orange Bowl and insinuated that country boys were dumb. After that I rooted for Nebraska over everyone else until Solich started to let the program slide. Now the program is so bad that it is going to take a lot to turn it around.

20 years ago half of the guys in my class would have went to Nebraska if they could have been the tackling dummy. Now to get a kid from SD to go there you would have to recruit hard.
