I listened to the game today, and I gotta tell ya, Greg Sharp was a joy to listen to. the guy is a class act. he and Adrian are a nice blend, now lose the jerk Matt Davis and you guys have good radio program.

where was Rose? why the replacement?

call of the game was the ref calling KU Kansas State and then on an illegal motion, it was "the entire line was moving" two good ones!

Now what kind of a problem can you have with Matt Davis?
he is a joke. and I do not like him!

Nebraska isn't as sick as some wish. They still have plenty of talent, and they've started to play inspired ball. Kansas is 8 & 0 against the spread, but I'll be happy with a 1 point win.

You were wrong Brad. Bad wrong. They are as sick as any team I've ever seen.

It ain't gonna do them any good to get rid of the coaches and AD.

They need to get rid of all the players too, and start all over from scratch.

I've never seen such lollygagging like this in all my days of watching college football.

Kinda glad in a way though. I took KU minus the points.

It's coaching. We've got good kids and they haven't been developed and have been put in bone-head schemes. A & M ran the same flipping play half of their snaps because it worked every time they ran it and we never did anything different to stop it - Cosgrove calls the D. Mizzou's QB said we ran a "high-school" defense - Cosgrove called that, too. Players said they couldn't change defenses on Mizzou because "we never practiced anything else" - nice contingency plan by Cosgrove.

We've got more 3 and 4 star players and more J.C. All-Americans than Pelini had and his D was top 10, Cosgrove is bottom 10. Callahan's recruiting classes have averaged way higher than Osborn's. Need I compare records between those two?

Our announcers calling the game will tell us the formation and then say, "We ususally run X here"- and then we do. It's pretty sad when your announcers are correctly predicting the play - you think opposing D coordinators might be able to do the same?

Callahan and Cosgrove are clowns. They haven't figured out that they've been figured out.

You have GOT to be kidding. You got 76 points hung on you today.

KU was running right up the gut whenever they wanted too. That so-called Husker defense never was in it. Did KU ever punt?

I could take some 10th graders with a nose for the ball and do better than they did.

Face it. Huskers have NO talent. They officially have the worst defense in the NCAA now.

You guys better get used to Iowa State puttin' a whupping on ya a$$e$ too.

It'll take Gene Chizik a couple of years but he'll have them boys playing ball for ya know it.

the first 13 series was a 3 and out, 11 touchdowns and a kneeldown to end the half.

KU really impressed me. but stopping at 76 was wrong..... a few more would have been nice to see.

only problem was KU did it.....man I hate KU,.

Again, look at the ratings of the players Cosgrove has and what Pelini had and tell me again it isn't coaching.

Well Mike and I watched different games. When Kansas ran up the gut as Mike said, it was after some spread offense passing. Kansas did a good job (got lucky) play calling, and kept Nebraska turned arround.

NU has plenty talent, but you just can't play tentative. Those kids would be better off right now if they didn't care so much, but they know they're at Nebraska where 3 losses is tragic. Lew Holtz could fly into Lincoln tonight and win out. TO isn't that sort of charismat, but he'll find the right fit.

Doug Thorson gets it - Nebraska has carried the torch for all of us for along time. If anyother group was subjected to the same biggotry as NU/rural people by national media, Jessie and Al would be gettin paid. Jigs, its ok to fight with your brother, but after the fight you still have to spring your clink to fix his nose and teeth. I would have been happier with a nice 24 - 17 win. I've heard a hell of alot more about NU today because of '76" points than I ever did when they won championships.

the only good thing about this season for NU is, now you find the real fans. they will look similar to a guy wearing purple in the early 80's. getting his ash kicked, but just happy to see his team play ball!

Enjoy guys.......... We'll turn it around.........And the shoe will be on the other foot.... This is a charactor buildier... We'll be slapping your team's heads together in no time......... :D

if by no time, you mean 5 or 6 years...then I agree.

this is no easy fix. I know you think bringing TO back in is similar to the second coming of Christ, but there is no magic pixie dust to fix the boat. it is sinking, and sinking fast!

I'll use Jim Mora's voice from the famous "Playoff speach".

k state??????? k state??????? you're talking about k state???????????? No were not gonna end up like k state!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Why don't you just relax and fantasize about Jim Rose giving you a good old country fing (abstinense program at work El Jigsbo).

It is an easy fix. We've got the talent NOW to be a 7 - 9 win team with an average coach. Get a guy who can motivate and who knows where we go.

Easy fix? Look around you at the other conference teams that are vastly improving. KU, KSU, Missouri, Co, and even ISU will be a much improved team in a few years.

It's a different game than it used to be. Write it down.

Talent? I saw ZERO Husker defensive talent last week. Had KU not have missed some key tackles on those first two scoring drives you might have been shut out.

Hope it's as easy as you're thinking, but I sure don't think so.

I don't think the fix is easy. Nebraska and Notre Dame being down are almost like John Wayne dying, you just know that things will never be the same.

I question the desire, and talent of the kids. this program has sunk so low, one great guy is NOT going to do an over night sucess. NU may have 2 or 3 more bowl-less seasons before getting a good foothold on things.

it is a mental block they have, and the fans think it will be 1995 all over again as soon as Cally leaves.

in 1995, my fat ash could have had a 100 yrd rushing day with those players! now, I would not trust them to make thier blocking assignments.
