Can a goose trip and fall down in the water? Or is it just whippin' and spurrin' to try to outrun the other one? :???:

Yep, we could use some rain as well. There's been big storms, but they've hit all around us :? . Your heifers look to be doing well. Mine are mixed in with cows I have on leased pasture near home, and so I hope they stay put.

The yearling operators on the forest are already chasing after their cattle :D . One operator in particular has a bad track record of running their yearlings on everyone else's allotment each summer. I was going to put my foot down if I caught them on me, and so Sunday while fixing fence on leased pasture near the forest I spotted 14 steers in one of our leased pastures. I just KNEW the cattle belonged to this individual since they were the only outfit who've been running yearling steers. I left a not-so-nice message on their phone saying they had until wednesday to get them out, or I would start charging $5/day/head. Needless to say they didn't have their brand on them    . At least I've set the tone for the rest of the summer  . With my luck, my yearlings will crawl in with their cattle :D . I did apologize, but stated that my reaction was legit since 99.9% of the time, it is there cattle which are out  . This outfit runs 10-15,000 yearlings and I'll bet they have 2-300 head out at all times... must be nice grazing that many head for free :? .

Where are Kosmo Kid's gloves? My hands hurt looking at that photo... YOUCH! Thanks for sharing!
