Well my day started with about 100 head of cows going walkabout after a tree fell on the fence-just got them back in and fence fixed when I discovered about 50 yearlings from another field had got the same get out of jail free card. I didn't have a horse right handy so I rode shank's mare to get them off the neighbors winter wheat-which by the way is crack cocaine for yearlings who've been on hay all winter. I'd worked up a bit of a sweatt by this time-went out fencing and discovered I'd lost two extra head when the cattle went through the ice-I'd checked earliar but they just came up today. Other than that things ran remarkably well lol.
