:) Hannas spending her first night at home since the accident...pretty happy young lady. The Glenrose doesn't really do much therapy on weekends so thought that maybe letting Hanna sleep in her own bed for the weekend might be just what the Dr. ordered :) Her new wheelchair has been ordered,so it will be great when that arrives...independence :!:

Shes just doing so good

Is she getting one of those battery operated wheelchairs?
A couple of local kids that have some type of paralysis disease (MS ?) have them- and they have contests having wheelies and everything...
I've found the one boy 1/4 mile out of town going with his buddies to a fishing hole they have at the river...

I'll bet a night or two at home will perk her up--just knowing that the stay in the hospital will end someday....

Wonderful news! There's nothing like home.

Did they have to do much home renovation to accommodate the wheelchair? That can be a real hassle in itself.

nr...they haven't done any reno's yet but for sure will have to,mostly the accesses.

OT,I forgot to ask if the wheelchair will be electric, the only thing I do know is sometimes when the paralis isn't complete that the Pt's like to see strong upper mucles built which wouldn't really happen with an electric one...but boy could she torment her brothers with one on those huh

I will post more pics soon Jigger :)
