Got a horn ewe that hit my grand son last year when we were docking lambs. Made him more hesitant around the ewes. Well lock them up at night. Most all have lambed This year we just catch lambs in the pasture C&D&T shot rubber on the nuts and emasculator to take off the tail. Well Mrs. horns came in couple twin buck lambs. We got part of the flock in a small corral before turning out. I had to take a baseball bat, few hits grab one lamb for Sue. the scond I had to hold the ewe back Sue used a long handled hook she snatched the lamb with. I had to stand gaurd while that lamb got worked, Yeah like mean cow this ewe going away next fall.

Wow, never ran into any ewes that aggressive. They were allowed to be very protective of the lambs,
up till the lamb was about three weeks old. At that point the lamb is plenty big enough to travel, so the ewe
had to move away from and respect the dog, if not, dog was allowed to re-educate the ewe.

One ram was really bad to go into the barn, then turn and stand near doorway and wait for you. Of course it took a
brief moment my eyes to adjust from sunlight to the barns interior, and that is when he would attack.
