We are on a mission to get bulls out of another bunch of yearling heifers. The rest of the bulls will probably be kept with the older cow bunches until mid August

The only red yearling heifer on the place. She missed getting sold last fall, so I kept her over and hopefully she is now "with calf."

Still alittle green in them there hills and the cattle looking good and cowpokes competant :wink:

You got it figuered out running those young bulls gotta make pulling them easier. I don't think I'd have the luck pulling and loading some of my grouchy tonners outa the canyons and into the trailers like you sometimes do with those youngsters. probably Raise my vehicle insurance lol. Usally hope they come in with the precond. gather.

That mule looks just like one my brother had few years ago but his was a jenny. Thing could go all day at its own pace seemed like it never did break a sweat. But it sure didn;t like a crupper it could buck off his hat anytime front feet never left the ground lol. he took it to Billings and sold it jake clark bought it pretty sure he's the mule guy.
