mosquito protection

just wondering what everybody else uses to help cows&calves fight mosquitos. what with all the standing water around and few warm day's I'm sure that we will be hit with wave's of the biting basstud's
 
Not sure how it works on mosquitoes, but I am finding that a treatment of CyLence (from Bayer) on the baby calves is quite effective for repelling flies.

It calls for only 2 ML for a baby calf poured over the head and shoulders, so it's pretty affordable for fly control even if it turns out to not do much for mosquitoes.

Same as the Indians did- a tall hill and a stiff breeze.... :wink:

I've never found anything- that is practical to range conditions besides that...
