Greg and I watched this movie last night....we're HUGE Toby Kieth fans.It was a very good movie!!

Theres a song performed by Toby Keth,Willie Nelson and I think Bebe Wymans?Anyway is was a beautiful song,I'm going to get the CD just because of this song.

O they tell me of a home far beyond the skies,
O they tell me of a home far away;
O they tell me of a home where no storm clouds rise,
O they tell me of an uncloudy day.

O the land of cloudless day,
O the land of an unclouded day,
O they tell me of a home where no storm clouds rise,
O they tell me of an uncloudy day.

O they tell me of a home where my friends have gone,
O they tell me of that land far away,
Where the tree of life in eternal bloom
Sheds its fragrance through the uncloudy day.

O the land of cloudless day,
O the land of an unclouded day,
O they tell me of a home where no storm clouds rise,
O they tell me of an uncloudy day.

O they tell me of a King in His beauty there,
And they tell me that mine eyes shall behold
Where He sits on the throne that is whiter than snow,
In the city that is made of gold.

O the land of cloudless day,
O the land of an unclouded day,
O they tell me of a home where no storm clouds rise,
O they tell me of an uncloudy day.

O they tell me that He smiles on His children there,
And His smile drives their sorrows all away;
And they tell me that no tears ever come again
In that lovely land of uncloudy day.

O the land of cloudless day,
O the land of an unclouded day,
O they tell me of a home where no storm clouds rise,
O they tell me of an uncloudy day

I've liked that song for a long long time. It's an old Willie tune. I"m not sure if he wrote it or not, but he's sang it for years.
Reminds me of when I was a kid, and grandma usta sing hymns while outside working. She'd sing, sometimes, humm sometimes, and whistle sometimes. I"ve never heard anyone whistle the way my grandma did. She didnt pucker up her lips and whistle loud....she just kinda blew quietly between her open lips, you couldnt hear her unless you were right there with her.......uhggg gonna make myself have tears. She was awesome!!!!!

And yes I liked that movie too. Watched it when it first came on CMT.

I am thinking that is an old hymn. We have it in our hymnal any way. I'll try to notice the author if I think of it. It is a nice song, that I, too, enjoy.
