Somebody up north left the back door open---BRRRRRRRR....Last two days have been miserable... 20-30 mph winds and plumb cold...Only 2 above when the sun came up this morning and only 8 above now at noon with about a 15 below chill factor...

Fed the neighbors cows a couple bales- and it was chilly...

I been getting everything set up to bring my cows down tomorrow to put on hay meadows-- but don't think it will take much gathering them- as they know its time and been moving toward the corrals....

At least the Sitz sale is on TV- I can stay out of the cold and watch the Angus Mafia swap $25,000-$30,000 bulls back and forth between themselves

Sounds like you both need to keep yer dang doors closed. Just a hair over the freezing mark tonight with a nice SW breeze. Snowfall warning in effect, but we can use some snow.

i'm afraid old man winter is picking right up were he left off last year  It's a cold one here, already in the low teen's with a nice snow pack outside.

A part of me misses getting up in the middle of the night to do a paper route that provided some extra income. I love winter (yeah, i'm weird), being out in the cold seemed to toughen this old city slicker up a bit.

It ain't "bad cold" here...but it ain't "good n warm" either. We've had quite a bit of wind, last night and today. Thunderstorms moved thru last night with the front.

I'm ready for the front to move back north now.....anytime.......it can go now........come on I'm waitin..........

Yeap....I'm a Wuss when it comes to cold weather. But got my fireplace burnin.....been gettin Christmas decorations down from the attic......Roast a few marshmellows here in a lil bit...and I'll be good.

-20c and no wind here the last 3 mornings, -8 now and chance of snow tommorow. We could use a little to cover up the ice. Not too much I've got another 100 bales to haul off a meadow that was too soft to haul in Sept, finally has enough frost in the ground to hold me up.

Snow.....winter......I've heard it said that snowmobiles give drunks an excuse to get some fresh air. :D

Our thermometer moved the right direction during the night. A few hours ago it was five below. Now it stands at seven above. Any improvement is welcome. :-)

Ours did too...When I went to bed it was 4 above-- now its 22 above...Supposed to get to 35 or better today...Hope I can get cows corraled and loaded before the winds come up...

Wind blew hard all night, got up at 4 to go into work.Ran out to start truck cause it was so danged cold yesterday and with the wind howling all night I figured I better. Fell right on my buttinski, had snowed and rained in the night and the step was pretty polished.Has really warmed up this morning, quite nice out! :)

And now Mr. Greg has to fix the big crack in the sidewalk- eh   :P
Luckily the rain and snow stayed pretty much west or south of us...Did get some wind this afternoon (30 mph) but the temp got up to 46- so it didn't feel as bad....
Temp is still 38 tonight..... :D
