I'm waiting for it to get to 50!!!!!

Yeah, so am I! That should be about April. :x

Woooo I'm a princess now.

NO way NO how would I come to Canada in the winter time. No matter how gracious the offer...and how much it's appreciated...I hafta turn that down for the simple fact that I don't much think I'd make a good popcicle.

Come on up and give us a lick. :D

Were Popsicle experts north of the line

I know it sounds crazy but I wish for some cold around here! I don't think we have dropped below 40 at night here yet and our days have been 60's 70's and even some 80's. My trees are so confused and have finally started losing the rest of their leaves.
Then Friday night we had the 5.1 EARTHQUAKE!!! It was centered about 10 miles from our place and scared the snot out of me and the Grandkids.
We had just finished putting up the Christmas tree and all the decorations when it hit. I don't know why but we decided to tie the tree to the wall with fishing line (Grandson's idea) and it's a good thing we did. That thing would have fallen over with all the swaying it was doing. We had a few things fall off of shelves but Thank the Good Lord nothing major.
I sure hope things get better so we can sell this place and get the HECK OUTTA DODGE!!!
Merry Christmas Everybody!!

If I were a betting man, I'd guess the odds of seeing you up here in the winter are about the same as the odds of me being seen down there in the summer. Gawd, I don't know how you do it. Must be a tougher breed down there
One thing about it, there's practically no limit on the amount of clothes you can put on, but only so many you can take off.

I've yet to hafta go nekid in our Texas heat. LOL

I don't wear shorts in the summer time either. Too many bugs that'll bit ya.

I too complain about the cold Nebraska winters...but I just can't hardly stand to much humidty with heat...I was in Texas once in June..114 degrees in the city..not fun...then in Texas in Mid October..still sweltering heat..my guess it maybe now would be a good time to visit Texas..65-75 degrees is perfect!

Weird Weather!!! Saturday night it was freezing rain all over the area- the county turned into a skating rink...Then yesterday it warmed up- as high as 50 at one place I was- ice and snow all melted- and then it rained all day-and I was even plowing mud--Last night temps dropped to 15- gave us back a skating rink- then started snowing and put an inch of snow on the ice

But whats really sounding interesting is the argument between 2 of our weather boys-- one predicting 20 BELOW for the weekend- the other predicting 30 BELOW for the weekend
Neither one do I want....Shut the door Mrs. Greg.....

5 degrees here this morning with a high predicted of 27. wish it would warm up about 70 degrees then it would be just about right

Geee I thought I would miss it...Nope started raining last night and I woke to 4 inches of snow. OK how is a NC girl suppose to drive in the snow??? I am use to everything shutting down and sitting around drinking cocoa. I have to go to work :???: Hope none of the babies freeze. Looks like I will be doing rounds in the tractor all evening.
Poor shoer will hit all of the rain from llarado untill Lubbock then hit snow all the way back to SLC. Too bad he doesnt have enough time to stop like he did on the way down
