Mrs. Leanin' H gets a bruiser!!!

H gave me a .270 for one of our anniversaries. I really liked it. Then my mom gave me hers that my dad had the stock cut down for her to fit her better. I didn't need two .270's so H took the one he gave me back. I shot this buck with my mom's gun. My dad said this is the first buck it has ever shot. Good luck with your hunt! Post some pictures for us, whether you tag out or not. I'd like to see where you hunt.

I don't know how many deer I- my wife- and my kids have shot over the years with an old 250 Savage...And now I've started my Grandkids shooting it....
Don't take that much of a gun to take about anything-- if you can put it in the right place...And if you can do it moving- Leaning H better mind his P's & Q's :wink: :P :lol:

He is one of those bucks that a tape doesn't do justice. He's 24 inches wide but 25 tall with 24 inch main beams. He has great mass and tapes out at 162. But who really cares! You gotta get your hands on him to really appreciate how good he is. The pictures are good but the buck is better. Can ya tell i'm pretty proud of Mrs. H? :wink: :D :D

i can and i would be too. and i agree with you...there is more to it than just the score that makes an animal a trophy
