Late fall pictures in 2008. It was a dry year, this tanks is one the cattlemen put in for their cows.

We put the sneak on this band and was able to get fairly close before they noticed we were around. It didn't take much movement before they took off.

At a distance they felt safe enough to stop and see what they were running from.

A dry year means a long way from water to feed.

Hi Lazy WP,,,, these were taken October 29th 2008. That late in the year, the sun is too low in the south to make really good pictures. This particular day it was a little hazy too. (Just making excuses.) I need to get out there again,, It's been about 9 weeks. I was planning on Friday, until the weather man said it was going to be 100 degrees. :x :x :x
