Just answering pups and bucks request,,,,,,,,,,

No water in the pond or trough. There is water about a mile further up the country.

Could anyone explain how that gray mare got so "deformed" ?

The bald-faced roan with the flaxen mane and tail is very striking of color!!
I'm guessing he is a stallion???? We haven't seen him in any other pictures,
right?

The older looking grey stallion??? doesn't look real thrifty. Green grass will
no doubt help that a lot. He' probably lost some teeth.

Thanks for the pictures!!

He's been around for a long time. His dad was out there when I first found the 140 head. The dad was really old then, in 2004. I call this guys color, chestnut sorrel with a flaxen main and tail. But I'm not sure others see it the same way. He hasn't ever had any mares running with him, so I figured his best days were before I first saw him.

I'm sure you are right as he would stamp his color and
markings on a few colts, at least.
He probably isn't roan then, just some dust I'm seeing. Still a beautiful
color. Here he looks more cherry sorrell than chestnut, but you've seen him
with your own eyes.
