This post is dedicated to "Soap" as a "Get Well Card."

Last week we found them too late in the day for two old men to hike to where they were. This week they were in about the same place, but we were stoked up on Pepsi and a Big Breakfast w/out hotcakes from the Golden Arches. It was a full mile from the road, but the sight of 103 head of wild mustangs helped dull the pain. They had been to water and were grazing away from us, but we caught them without too much effort. I would rather taken pictures without a 20 mph wind, but we wasn't given a choice.

The paint colt belongs to the paint mare. Last week we counted about eighty head this week the numbers had grown by about twenty head. The paint mare and her colt are part of the new group. Its sure a mystery where they have been hanging out.

We take pictures of solid colored horses too.

Last time out, this gray was fighting continually. Today he was docile. He never made an aggressive move all day.

Ol Trouble here, was in the way most of the day. I don't trust him and had to "run a bluff" on him two or three times to get him out of the way.
I always wonder if some day he wont "bluff."

If we are around long enough, there is always someone on the prod.

Note--
Let the record show that I can post mustang pictures without the paint mare Gypsy, or any of her family.

Thanks for the thought, mustang. This computer I am using in the hospital doesn't show pictures, so I am excited to get home tomorrow and see the pictures you have posted.

Man that must have been one mean mosquito.

Glad to hear your getting home tomorrow. That's quite a stretch you've done in the hospital.

You'll be getting soft. :D

Great pictures once again! The desert sure has some beautiful colors this time of year.

Hope your recovery comes quickly and completely Soap. It's been quite a tough stretch for you!
