I'm old and retired,,, I shouldn't have to get out when its dark and cold. My mustang hunting buddy said he'd pick me up at 8:00, by then it was light, but it hadn't warmed up much. I't two and a half hours to horse country via The Golden Arches (for breakfast). We located them over two miles away. there were two groups, we thought one group was cows. When we got closer we found they were all mustangs, 106 head total, "a sight to behold." I wonder how much longer we'll be privileged to witness such a sight and have them around to take their pictures and just set and watch them move around.

I hardly got warmed up, not much competition there.

Malcontents in training.

Their starting to grow their winter hair. It won't be long before their digging in the snow looking for some grass.

After driving through that country, sorta, last week, I REALLY NEED to come spend more time out that way. You make the country and horses look absolutely beautiful!!!!

Come down anytime, H' is our head scout, tells us when he sees our victims
on his way to work. When it's cold and muddy, they are harder to find. There are no guarantees, but the price is wright. You might find it hard to keep up with two old farts of our age.

I don't know how you do it......some of these pictures actually look 3-D!!!
You have got to add at least one of those grays with the mountains behind
them to your calendar. If you don't I'm going to be very disappointed!
I'm not sure that the first few pictures here aren't your best yet!! Exquisite!!!
