Thank you for your wonderful words of encouragement.
Just to clear up one little thing, my father was 87, I will be 60 Sept. 11. That is why I mentioned he had been my father for 60 plus years.
Dad worked in Alaska for 15 years making the pioneer roads they took the heavy equipment in on for the North Slope. There is a most awesome photo of him on a cat, way up high on an outcropping. If there is a way, I will post that photo when I return.
He was born in Missouri and came to Wyoming as a young man and got into the construction business. He ran heavy equipment all his life. He loved it. So he got to do what he liked for his life's work, and that is so important.
I think that is what ties us all together here on ranchers.net. We are all doing what we really want to do in our life. The hard times just make it more dear to our hearts.
