The fence builder started building fence on the neighbors and then mine. We talked to him last night. Said it would be quicker and easier to come in through my place. He asked if he could pull a goose neck trailer with a load of fence supplies in that way. The neighbor and I both said the road would be good but the bridge over the ditch is a bit sketchy. Well he tried it today. He didn't have the trailer square behind him. So he went across but the trailer missed the bridge. Had I been home and if he stopped as soon as it happened. We could have unloaded the trailer with the tractor and then used the tractor to pick up the back of the empty trailer and set it on the bridge. But instead he used the truck and a skid steer to pull it on across totally dismantling the bridge. Note in the one picture two full bundles of T posts now forming a dam in the ditch. I called and left a message with a guy who has a sawmill about 3x12 that are 16 feet long. Fence guy gets to go into the bridge repair business.

I believe he simply followed my tracks leading to and off the bridge. Of course I just drive the quad across it. It is not a straight shot on either side so he was too far to the right and the trailer wasn't following right in his tracks. I am not sure if the trailer actually missed the bridge or if it was just too far to that side and out beyond the stringers. Either way the majority of the decking is destroyed.
