No Teddy doesn't even know he has neighbors or what a Sandhills meadow should look like.

Teddy just sees Bison having more bison.

Actually these Bison Teddy will see on a plate at Teddy's Montana Grill.

Ok actually to be honest I enjoy driving over and seeing the buffalo (and knowing it makes the help nervous if anyone is around). Thank goodness a county road cuts right through! I just don't like seeing the mess they have made of some very nice meadows in the Nebraska Sandhills. Is it any of my business? NO. But I'm opinionated!

But they are so esthetically pleasing to the eye. And surely buffalo don't belch like nasty old cows. If they do, they'd at least say, " 'Scuse me." :roll: :wink:

We all worry about the "gas tax" on cows just think if ole Teddy has to pay up on his bison. That will cost him some bucks.

Remember the buffalo lived there first. The cattle are the ' move in's", the non native species, or at least since the last Ice Age.

If they had not been there first....who knows....the land may not have become habitable for cattle later on.

That was different, they just kind of migrated through then. Being fenced in they have the opportunity to do way more damage. It is kind of neat to stop along the fence and watch them, though. They'll often come up close to the vehicle....we boarder him for a few miles.

You should see what they do to wet wonderful more then you need hay producing meadows in the Sandhills. :x

Plus even in normal meadows where they congrigate is left a sand hole and weeds.

We've got a buffalo neighbor off of I-25. They seem to graze their land pretty heavy as well. Kinda makes you wonder what the public thinks as they drive by .

At least their ranch looks better than another housing subdivision :? .
