My horse is broke

Was bunching cows for bull turnout on Saturday and broke my horse. Had a nice 10 km - 6 mi. walk home with 2 dogs and a herd of cows. Got the steering column welded yesterday in Bella Coola while we were at the rodeo and will put it back in this morning.

Which way do we go?

You'd think those thing would last better than that. At least you were able to get some good exercise out of it. How many bears and wolves did you have to fight on the way home? :shock:

Every time I see that bike a just have to shake my head and smile. I'm sure she'll be up and running as good as new in no time!

Man you had me think your REAL HORSE broke its leg. Thats the reason I gave those four wheelers up. A good horse never fails, all they ask for is good grass and water. :wink:

Oh, they fail alright. They come up lame, get caught up in wire (no matter how careful you are), get sick, rack up vet bills, chew rails, eat you out of house and home, require regular maintenance whether you use them or not, and are every bit as likely to leave you walking home as a good bike.
Having said that, I sure do like my horse :wink:

I have only had one horse leave me, it was because a deer spooked him. The bad thing is I just about out ran the horse going the other way. :lol: But you are right abou the vet bills. The kids mini we lost a few weeks ago costed us over $500 and still had a dead horse and kids for weeks. The last time I rode a four wheeler it was wide open or stop and most of the time the stop came after I hit something. I spended more time in the hospital from the four wheeler than a horse. But that was when I was a teenager to.
