My solar project

My grandpa hand dug a well in my back pasture back in the 1940's. My Dad used to pump it with a gasoline powered pump. I put in a solar unit the last few days. Should be a great blind for some dove hunting next Fall.

It is a Sunpump. I bought it from a outfit in Redding Ca, as they sold the panel for $250.00. Prompt service ordered it on Monday and was all here by Friday. I pump 2.5 gallons a minute was pumping about 7 gallons when I started. But my hole is shallow and wouldn't keep up. I plumped the overflow to pump back into the well for now will move it to the next pasture when it rains someday.
