Hi All,
Got a little ahead of my work load for a few minutes, which is very rare now-a-days, so I decided to check in with my good rancher friends. Got my two shorties clipped up today. The good one of course wouldn't hold still, the clipper accidentally hit a wart on her ear, and she sprayed blood all over. At least got the wart that's been bothering her. The kicking witch got the hobble treatment a few days back, and stood like a perfect angel the whole time. Go figure. I'll have some pictures up soon. If anyone wants to start a shorty herd, they're for sale at stock show. On to other things. Recently, I was elected the president of our youth run county organizational committee. It's a club that schedules activities and such for the county. I'm also working closely with CSU on getting a pre-collegiate study going on agronomy. Leased 8 acres from the parents to test some crops on and CSU has been really responsive to my enthusiasm for agriculture. It's pretty sweet to be rewarded for something that comes naturally. My junior year has a very large work load but I'm getting on top of things, and look to graduate with a between a 4.5 and 5.0 at this point. The college prep classes go off the 5.0 system, so 4.0 just doesn't cut the mustard any longer. Hope to see as many as possible at stock show. We'll get there the evening of the 13th and show the 16th. We'll roll out the morning of the 17th, but that leaves a couple free days of visiting. I'll have a sign up for MYT Farms.
