Nasty Winter Storm

Its a little brighter now but they are still calling for another 6 inches of snow tonight and tomorrow. Got the tractor plugged in to take some hay out to the cows and bed them down. Guess I should've shipped my calves last week. The truck is buried in a snowbank out in the pasture where I left it last weekend when I was fencing. Tractor hasn't been started in awhile. Might need to boost it but of course the truck is stuck in a snowbank. I guess winter is officially here. I'm a bit be nice at the guy who was supposed to haul my hay home. I've only got enough left from last year for a few days, so he better get his butt in gear and get that picked up for me. Too early for winter.

Son is now a trucker. Got his Class 1A in the snow storm this morning. He's happy but worried about getting home as the roads are the S--Ts.

Well good for lil muddy, whats he gonna do now buy a truck ?I hope he is careful on the way home,I know yall get tired of snow up there but, dont sound all bad to us,have plenty firewood and let it snow,we usually get a dusting here most years, sit in frontt of the fire place sippin good whiskey  ..........good luck

Just curious - what's your favorite whiskey? I'm an Old Crow man myself, although I don't think a $8 fifth can be considered particularly refined. :D

mp.freelance, Haymaker seems to have a hankering for any kind of whiskey. He really has a craving for Tangle Ridge, right Haymaker? Him, and Mike, and Alabama.....
