Went to Gillette few kids with their rodeo contestant numbers on their back. A steer wrestle and his mom from Kansas, A man and wife from Mississippi (their boys were team and tie down roping). They asked acres per animal.... told them everywhere from around 10 on an irrigated farm 20-25 in places 40 in most places and their ranches that need a 100.One from Kansas said 5 where they were. Mississippi said ONE unless he plants some Rye grass and then it was 2 yearlings. Couple from Idaho up Boise way, their son steer wrestler. Gal in Albertson's said she was from Elko, but she was on the Idaho team. Then see hurried away from the weird old man.

A girl we helped sponsor there from Williams Lake running barrels and poles.

The kid from Utah who won the bronc riding here on Friday didn't qualify for the high school finals. So he came here to the bronc riding and won $10,000. Hmmm I believe I would have rather had the money than the memory.
