CHADRON – Law enforcement is asking KCSR listeners for help in locating five individuals.

Chadron Police Chief Tim Lordino contacted KCSR around 5 a.m. this morning with an update:

Chadron Police Chief Tim Lordino said five white men in their late teens or early twenties are being sought in connection with the robbery and may be in Chadron.

He said an incident has occurred near Chadron and it is believed the suspects are in town. Law officers from Chadron Police Department, Dawes County Sheriff's Office, Nebraska State Patrol and outside law enforcement agencies that have been called in are involved in the search.

The suspects are described as white males. One is wearing a red hooded sweatshirt, another a blue hooded sweatshirt and a third is wearing a red ball cap The Descriptions of the other two suspects are unknown at this time.

Lordino warned that this is the last known description and could have changed, so if anyone sees anything or anyone unusual they should notify law enforcement at 432-0510.

Lordino said people should check and make sure their vehicles are still at their homes and if they are unlocked, should lock them.

Law Enforcement Officers say the suspects are considered, armed and dangerous. Trooper Decker said that if anyone sees anyone suspicious they should not approach them, but should contact law enforcement officers at 432-0510.

The trooper noted that the college and Walmart are both on lockdown and the convenience stores have all been visited by law enforcement officers.

Motorists, are advised not to pick up any hitch-hikers on Highway 20 or Highway 385.

I just tried to call a buddy of mine who lives in Chardon and he always has the WORST luck. I guessed by now he'd had a run in with these goons as trouble seems to track my buddy down.

His bad luck:

He lost lots of cattle in the BIG FIRE

He found the dead professor

3 wives have left him/took everything over the last 13 yrs.

At least his dog hasn't died yet!!

He should be out building fence....I wonder if he'll try to put them to work if he runs across them.

Neb/S.D. - Three Armed Robbery Suspects Identified, Charged.

CHADRON - At a press conference in Chadron, the identities of three of the five alledged armed robbery suspects have been released. The Police say, 19 year old Jordan Lee Adams, 20 year old Jacob Edward Krauss, and 21 year old Camillo James Adams were arrested and charged with felony possession of stolen property, felony fleeing to avoid prosecution, and felony possession of a defaced firearm.

The two other suspects have yet to be identified. The Fall River Sheriff's Department will be filing its own set of charges later today or tomorrow. No injuries were reported in the capture of these suspects who were the subject of a 14 hour investigation by many law enforcement agencies working together.

The authorities say an undetermined amount of U.S. Currency and a single firearm were recovered from the pickup truck which was reported to have been stolen out of Montana.

Originally I thought they robbed the RoseBud, so when my kids didn't have school, I asked if they wanted to partsrun to Chadron with me - to get a Mickeys fix. I noted an airplane flying low and my son said, yeah he's been overhead about the entire drive. Law was all over south and west of White River Feed.

LEO did a great job. It has to be hard to go from small town Andy Griffith patrol to SWAT mode in an instant, but that's what they faced. The robbery crew is from Montana and is suspected to have committed some armed robberies there. The last 2 were identified as the younger brothers of the older Adams. One was 16; I understand they have significant criminal histories already. THey'll be old criminals when they get out of prison.

Does anyone know if they can serve 15 years in SD then serve time in Montana?

It's always good to see brothers that keep close family ties and get along well together. :-)

I heard about this on the radio, and the news guy waspronouncing Chadron very weird. it made me laugh.
he said it like two mens names... Chad Ron with the pause in the middle. perhaps it is the lazy midwest slang, but I have always heard it more like "shadrun".

I think it was the Mid America News Network, they have a history of hiring dandies!

glad they caught the punks.

these goofballs, Walked in and asked where the strippers were at the stateline casino. they had the stateline name part right just the wrong two states.
law enforcement did a excellent job on this.

Yep--they can...Many times when they finish one sentence in one state- they are released to another state to serve their time there...A lot depends on how the Judge writes the sentencing order...
