My how we wander from this thread

We trained our pup to hit a bell hanging by the door when she wanted to go out. This was a big help if I wasn't in the room when she had to go. I could hear that bell almost from every room. I'd just take hold of her paw and swipe the bell with it, then open the door. We could tell she thought it beneath her dignity at first but when she realized she had us at her beck and call with the bell :x she readily adapted.

nr..............Is your dog named Pavlof by any chance??

 No but that's where I got the idea. (They were named Sneaker and Hobbs) both sadly in past tense now. We couldn't have asked for better dogs- SPCA specials.
