Evenin folks - been checking out the forum and decided to finally give it a shot. Names Zack and I'm from Colorado :cboy:

Hoping to get to know people better but I got to admit Im taking some classes and I need as many of you fellas to help me out as you can. Homework stinks but projects are even worse. I meant to sign up on here so I could get started at the ranch rodeo finals last month in Amarillo (speaking of which did anyone go??) but I missed the opportunity.

Welcome!. Seems a little slow on here lately, but some great photo's posted lately.

What kind of classes are you taking? What are your goals re. those classes?

Which 'era' of life are you in? We are probably 'winding down' our ranch career, having begun in the mid 1950's. The 'other half' rides to check or work cattle most every day, and does most other ranch chores, but picks his jobs. He has that luxury because we have two sons and two grand sons plus two very helpful spouses of those grand sons on the ranch with us. I and the dau. in law on the ranch are busy being 'grandma' and 'great grandma' to two busy little girls......and we even get to baby sit when their mom helps the guys, etc.! BTW, we are close to celebrating 125 years on this family ranch in western SD. We live in a good neighborhood, with several ranch families 'trading work' when a larger crew is needed. Great help, and good people to be around.

Hope you enjoy your time on this site.
