Here he is, at 8 weeks old......gettin to be quite the handful, he is!

This is about the only way to get a pic of him that's not blurry these days:

We had a lot of thunder and lightening here this afternoon, and he was scared to death of it, so, since I'm home alone, I let him come keep me company........coulda been a big mistake.

He was shy at first, and wanted to keep the front door within shovin distance.

Finally, after a while, he ventured on in, and found some exciting new play things...........aka my toes.........guess those sharp little teeth will teach me to wear shoes, huh?

After about an hour, of terrorizing my toes, and making a general pest of himself, he lied down by Hubby's boots, and had a half hour nap......aren't the sweet when they're sleeping?

He's a cutey! My dog is getting up there in age -- 13, so we're of a mind to start looking for another, just don't know what yet!! Maybe we could borrow Rebel for a bit and try him out to get a feel for the breed?

If we make it up there, he's coming along........we could probably work something out.......

FIL will get Snip (Cur) and if he doesn't want the other pups, not sure what we'll do with them......they're half cur, half redbone hound........ya interested in either, or both, of them?

I may have been had I seen this post about 4 days ago...we got a 7 month old hunting dog, golden retriever...sure was a different breed than what we had originally talked about...guess the idea of bird hunting with a dog again finally got the better of my husband...lol
