New Years Day

Yesterday we left the Desert and went down to the White Mountains for a little New Years Day ride in the Pines and snow. Teresa my wife took the black and white ones, I took the color ones.

Thank you for sharing. Those are all awfully nice photos, but I am especially taken with that first picture...so cool. I personally think you should have it enlarged and framed.

Also, welcome to the site...you've probably been a member for awhile, and I have been rude and failed to welcome you!

The mountains in the other pictures begin about 50 miles to the south of here and there are 12,000ft. peaks 90 miles to the west of us at Flagstaff.
 
They don't winter them in the high country down there. They run them north to lower elevation where we don't see much snow. Up here we let them forage year round but, do feed hay when cows are up at calving time.
