Decided it was high time we got us another dog Been over a year since we lost Gus. So we went down to some friends of ours and looked at their Aussie/border crossed pups. Came home with two. Lottie and Missy is what the kids named the little ladies. So far they are awesome little buggers.

We have a couple hounds and my son's 18 year old Heeler/Aussie cross cowdog decided that our accommodations suited him better than at home. He sheds hair like a Belgian Draft horse and is incontinent so we go through lots of Lysol, paper towels and vacuum bags! He thinks he runs this place and I'm not so sure that he isn't right! Our Bluetick Hound does a pretty good job of harassing the coyotes and encouraging them to go somewhere more accommodating (and hopefully where there's a better marksman than I ) . Our coyotes run in packs and often pull down deer in the winter so packing a calf off of our calving grounds isn't a big stretch for them! The Walker Hound just likes eating, sleeping on the couch and going for truck rides, but she's sweet!
