News from Gcreek

Hello everyone, thanks for the well wishes.

Three weeks ago, I was diagnosed in having a Macroadenoma ( a ususally benign tumor attached to one's pituitary gland) as a result of my annual eye exam. I had ben experiencing reduced peripheral sght from my right eye and by the time I was operated on July 10, my total sight was down to a small circle with the rest of the light being a huge steamy window.

I have our medical system to thank for the relatively speedy diagnosis to treatment time I experienced. It has been a week now since my operation. A lot of my sight has returned. Mostly my left eye but noticeable difference in my right.

Staying at my sister's for a few days before wending my way home. I have been instructed to do basically nothing for 8 weeks. ( Shouldn't be hard!)

Our oldest son is coming to help with haying and bringing his equipment too. Maybe if I do stay out of the way things will get done sooner than ever.
We have a bumper crop of hay to bale.

Life is great!!!!!

Regards, Dave

PS..... NO Cancer!

It's great news that you are on the upswing! It is also very good that you have such capable help through haying. I'm trying to imagine you resting while everyone else is working. I hope you can manage it.
Here's wishing you a speedy and full recovery!

Mr. FH says "tell Dave to stay out of the way and keep the coffee pot
going."

.........Well Dave....with that bumper crop of hay coming in...Sounds like you should wander down to the Williams Lake sale barn and pick up a couple loads of cattle to help eat it up.....what could possibly go wrong?

Glad things are "lookin' up" for you, Dave. Hope and pray that you will continue to heal and get back to normal as soon as possible.

Thanks. Every day I notice improvement.

Cousin, with the drought going on in the prairies, you can bet I am trying to find grass here and take advantage of the situation.
